Money Smart Week
Money Smart Week (MSW) is an annual promotion of financial literacy that aims to help participants manage their personal finances better. This national week first began in 2002 during the month of April which is Financial Literacy Month. This first Money Smart Week was conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. It has since grown tremendously and involves partners from all over the United States.
Money Smarts Week at UMBC premiered its inaugural year in 2019. A menu of fun and engaging speakers, workshops, and activities on a range of financial literacy topics were part of the event.
MSW is an annual event that is held during the month of April every year!
