Welcome to UMBC! We are excited to introduce our newest Retrievers to our community of inquiring minds! At UMBC, we recognize the importance of financial literacy as it relates to academic and lifelong success! As such, students are introduced to financial literacy and many other core values from the very start… at New Student Orientation. Students learn the importance and long-term implications of making good, sound financial decisions. Students also learn some basic tools and tips for ensuring their personal financial success at UMBC. At UMBC, we are proud to say, “our students are more than educated, they are financially smart!”
